You can help a local animal get adopted even if you don’t have room for one.
Your sponsorship pays for an ad for a local shelter animal. Sponsored animals receive a 2″ x 2″ color ad in the City Paper. A portion of proceeds for each sponsorship goes directly to the rescue organization where the animal can be adopted. Each sponsor is recognized within the ad for their generosity. We’ve attached a portion as an example below:
Our last Adopt-A-Thon helped place a whopping 88% of the animals sponsored. We hope that this Summer Adopt-A-Thon can help get as many animals as possible in permanent, happy homes — and help raise much needed funds for shelters.
Even if you cannot sponsor an animal, you can help by sharing and spreading the word so we can make a difference. The Adopt-A-Thon is a great win for the pets and shelters alike, and we greatly appreciate your help in communicating the message.
